About EndorFUN Sports
EndorFUN Sports is in it's ninth year of existence, the creation of multi-sport athlete Keith Jordan. Our idea was to bring world class races to New England and Texas, by offering top quality organization and amenities in beautiful locations.
In addition, we strive to make sure that each athlete feels important, whether he or she finishes first or last, and to have FUN. We are attempting to make multi-sport more inclusive, allowing everyone the opportunity to fulfill their own goals and dreams. To this end:
|
|
-
We have both elite waves and first timer's waves in the races.
-
To encourage more newcomers, we have a rookie program for TimbermanTM.
-
We also have various seminars to make the first-timers more at ease before the "big day" (we all remember our first races, and how scary that first swim was!).
Of course, we also like to give back to the communities and work hard to raise funds and awareness for many local charities, with more than $200,000 raised in the first 8 years. We're animal lovers, and our primary focus is to help protect them. We've created the Athletes for Animals Program, a fund raising organization. The goal is to get as many of you to raise money while you race. Please try to help! Simply get sponsors to sponsor you per mile. Simple concept, and every cent counts!
We're also very supportive of local charities, and welcome their involvement. Get ready for some new programs, to aid in preventing childhood obesity!
Our goals will always be to make EndorFUN Sports races synonymous with high-quality and fun, and to exceed everyone's expectations. Race Director Keith Jordan was awarded Race Director of the Year by USA Triathlon New England in 2002, and Race Director of the year by the voice of New Hampshire Running, Andy Schachat, showing that all of the hard work pays off. To top it off, TimberMan was awarded Best Large Triathlon in the U.S. by USA Triathlon for 2003. TimberMan became part of the Ironman 70.3 World Championship Series, and was ranked as the "#1 Must Do Triathlon" by Triathlete magazine. Longhorn Ironman 70.3 Austin became part of the Ironman 70.3 series in 2008.
To continue to improve your race experiences, we always encourage input from all of you! Please be sure to fill out post-race surveys, we really care what you think! We have a fantastic crew, that LOVE doing this, and take great pride in offering the best race experience possible!
We look forward to continuing to bring to you the best races anywhere. Remember to always train safe and have FUN.
ROCK ON!

- Paul is Claire's Dad and Keith's acquired Dad and married to Wendy (the Athlete's Food Tent lady). Paul is OLD and a Brit and therefore from another planet.
- He's the lunatic who encouraged Keith to get into this tri thing by making all the first generation equipment in NH from donated lumber! He also built all the new equipment in Texas. If you hang your bike on it or run under it, he made it. He's still trying to figure out how Keith persuaded him to do this.
- His favorite bike is one with an engine and a very favorable power to weight ratio. His favorite ride is through London rush hour on a sports motor bike.
- His favorite races are the ones without wind and rain storms (especially wind) of Biblical proportions.
- His greatest achievement is retiring from a full career in Shell only to find he had to work harder, without air conditioning, for Endorfun Sports.
- His favorite place to run is anywhere that is sloping gently downward, not too far and ending at an English pub that is well furnished with cool pints of bitter, pickled onions and steak pies.
- He grew up playing what REAL men play …. RUGBY. ALL other games are for wimps. In fact he went to the school where it was invented so it is also one of his two religions.
- His passions are: family above all, making fine furniture, classical choral music (remember, he's the one from another planet) and military history. He also gets quite excited when he can dodge Keith's next bright idea for something that needs to be built, stored, loaded and hauled around.
- His goal for the year is to get the Texas equipment logistics improved so it's less work. (Remember, he's OLD).
- His favorite food is roast lamb and mint sauce and lemon meringue pie made with REAL lemons.
- The person he would most like to meet is Attila. What?...... he had some good ideas!
- His biggest pet peeve is politics and all those involved.
- His favorite bands are: Any good orchestra and/or choir playing music not later than 1800. (He doesn't even recognize what some others put in this section but then …… he's from another planet).
- Self description: He's a moderately robust, somewhat overweight, 65 year old committed carnivore who loves shaving wood, banging metal, remodeling, eating well and sleeping well. He refuses to grow old gracefully and has little patience with any body part that is not performing at least adequately. He often finds himself on the politically incorrect side of most issues and appreciates people who are reliable and get things done. He is an active Anglican (Episcopalian) and has compassion for the dispossessed and oppressed and tries to do something about it in some small way.
