Keith,
Thinking ahead to Timberman I have a question about the timing clock at Mooseman. My finish time and clock time were different by 16 minutes yet my wave, #6, was 22 minutes after the pro start. I wasnt' wearing a watch for the swim so I can't confirm my swim time (the bike and run I can confirm that they agree with the results). Was there a restart of the clock six minutes after the pros or reduced gap to the first age group wave?
In the end it didn't affect my race since I was way off pace but don't want to mess up Timberman too.

due to impending possible weather, we actually started the waves closer together than the published times. That would do it
We wanted to make sure everyone was out of the water. |

| Thanks Keith. I was puzzled by that. I wasn't paying attention to the time, only the waves as I warmed up. Come to think of it I remember thinking "really my wave is up next already". |

I know it was from the racing end; I can only imagine from the RD perspective.
I think my answer is that for Timberman the clock will be running from the start of the Pros but I just need to pay attention to see if all the waves start at the presribed time if I want to use the swim out clock instead of my own watch.
Looking forward to Timberman. |
