KJ: Is it too early to ask when swim waves will be assigned for 2010? _________________ Keep It Real |

yup, Oct 1st
It'll be the 10th anniversary next year. Expect some special stuff.
Also, really special stuff for all of those folks who've done all 10 Timbermans.
I feel truly blessed to be involved in something like this. I never imagined it'd become what it has. Amazing..... |

Are you guys seriously talking about 2010? My body is aching and I am exhausted...the marsh hill monstah took a lot out of me.
On another note, people have actually done all 10 Timberman's? That is so awesome. I was planning on registering anyway...but knowing this is the 10th Anniversary makes it definite.
I can't believe Chrissie Wellington was there putting medals on people. That is so awesome. It really was fantastic for her to give me my medal. She was great.
I was fortunate enough to have some famous black rasberry Jordan's Homemade ice cream. After Moosey, I had vanilla so this was an extra special treat! |

Sing me up! (ok, I'll do it - Oct 1st !)
Keith et al - wonderful day and a fantatstic race! Firsty time back there since the first Timberman Half in 2001. I love the 2 loop run by the way and the fan support was incredible throughout the race! A first-class event (as usual by you and the E-team)
I went back to the park while doing a recovery ride on Tuesday and it was amazing how quiet everything was - - - one day a world-class event is taking place, and the next it's so peaceful and beautiful overlooking the lake. Amazing location!
Already scoped out some rentals on the run course for 2010 - I will be one of the first to log on and register 10/1.
Thanks for another great race!

I am so disappointed Timberman 2009 is over. I absolutely loved it but now there is a void in my training. I got no tempo in my step. I still have Augusta 70.3 and Marine Corps Marathon left but I really miss the moments leading up to Timberman (ie, the best race I have ever participated in).
Best to all, See you next year.
As always,

We're disappointed too! To relive the magic, you should've signed up for Longhorn Ironman 70.3 in Austin instead of Augusta
It's the Texas version of Timberman. On my way there right now, to get ready for it.
Also, am just leaving Louisville for Ironman Louisville, as I helped out Ironman with the race. It's an AWESOME event. I was very impressed....
Of course, it's a week after Timberman, so, NO, you're not allowed to race it |

KJ, Much respect for calling me out.
One day, I promise I will race Longhorn. A lot of folks in my club, DC Tri Club, will be participating.
I chose Augusta because I can drive without using TriBikeTransport or shipping my bike.
Also, if Ironman NH comes to fruition, I want you to be the race director and I will participate in the inaugural year.
As always,

well, he put it out their............so I might as well go for the big question that people want to know: when will NH be hosting an official 140.3, directed by KJ? _________________ Keep It Real |
